Calling all people around the world to pray for peace in the Holy Land
You can join Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) in praying for peace and supporting Holy Land Christians in a special way.
Taybeh is one of the few remaining towns in the Holy Land where Christians are the majority. They have made ceramic Peace Lamps, which are meant to be lit and used to unite Christians around the world in prayer for peace in the Holy Land and the Middle East.
Fr. Raed Abusahlia, founder of the Peace Lamps initiative said, “Our goal is to place a ‘Peace Lamp’ in every single church in the world and to unite as many Christians and people of faith as possible in a common prayer for peace in the Holy Land.”
