Make Lent a time for giving
(photo: John E. Kozar)
Lent is a time for reflecting on the enormous sacrifice our Lord made on Good Friday. It’s also a time for making sacrifices of our own. One of the purest sacrifices you can make is also one of the most loving. And it begins when you show compassion to those in need.
Give to CNEWA during this Lenten season, and you’ll spread your kindness among those who live in despair. In more than a dozen countries, in multiple ways, your generosity will help:
- Feed and protect families who suffer because of poverty, violence or persecution.
- Care for the sick and the disabled at Christian hospitals and clinics.
- Lift children and young adults out of poverty by providing schooling and vocational training.
- Support the training of new sisters and priests, who’ll devote their lives to caring for people in need.
After you send your donation, we’ll mail you our inspirational booklet, The Way of the Cross with Pope Francis. It’s our way of saying “thank you” for your simple sacrifice in honor of our Savior — a gift that will bring hope to those in need and help them survive.
