In India’s poor rural districts and urban slums, families live in dismal conditions that haven’t improved for generations. Every day, bureaucracy, corruption and bias against the lowest social castes stunt the lives of those living at the bottom.

But thanks to the generosity of our donors, CNEWA has been able to support schools, child care initiatives and social service works that uplift the poor, especially the Dalits, the so-called “untouchables,” scorned by so much of Indian society. All this is supported through the dynamic efforts of the Syro-Malabar and Syro-Malankara Catholic churches that empower the poor, advance their concerns and offer opportunities to grow and flourish.

Donate to CNEWA, and you’ll help Catholic schools, orphanages and vocational centers care for some of India’s neediest children. You’ll give caring sisters the means to run clinics to help the terminally ill. You’ll also foster the training of future priests and sisters so they can serve the poor. And by doing it all? You’ll offer hope to struggling families, and bring the hope they’ve needed for so long.
