Give the Gift of Hope this Christmas
During this time of year, most people in Canada are looking forward to celebrating our Saviour’s joyful birth.
But for millions of people in the Middle East, Northeast Africa, India and Eastern Europe, I’m afraid that joy is the furthest thing from their minds.
Poverty, war, natural disasters and political unrest are daily realities for many of the people that CNEWA serves. Without the generosity of donors, like you, they would suffer alone and without hope.
This Christmas, I invite you to offer the Lord a gift — a gift for all of His children that CNEWA serves in His name. Make a generous contribution to CNEWA and your precious support — your gold, frankincense and myrrh — will reach out to those who need it most.
Also, Msgr. Peter Vaccari, the worldwide President of Catholic Near East Welfare Association, plans to go to Bethlehem for Christmas where he will concelebrate Christmas Midnight Mass at the Church of the Nativity where Jesus Christ was born.
If you send us your prayer intentions, they will be remembered in a special way in Bethlehem on December 25. Please submit your prayer intentions below.
