Save the poor during the pandemic
COVID-19 continues to devastate many of the poorest countries in the world, like India.
In less than a month, new cases of COVID-19 reached 7.9 million in India alone. Many people don’t have access to hospital beds, essential drugs and oxygen. For the poor and marginalized communities, the pandemic has struck even harder — on top of the lack of health care, they also struggle to provide food for their families on a daily basis and many suffer from hunger.
Despite these challenges, heroic priests, religious sisters and volunteers continue reaching out; to safely feed the hungry, care for the sick, and comfort the grieving. One bishop encourages his people by saying: “Let us be heroic in these tough times.”
In India, like in all countries where we serve, the local Church cannot provide these services and bring spiritual support without your generosity. Will you help bring encouragement and show solidarity with our hardworking partners on the ground?
Your donation will go towards distributing personal protective equipment (PPE), hygiene kits, and providing essential food and health care. Your kindness will help save lives and bring the blessed gift of hope to the suffering.
