EPAM Canada Supports Schoolchildren in Ukraine
As children in North America get ready to go back to school, let’s remember Ukrainian children who are living in the chaos of war. Will you join us in helping kids continue their education?
We know students around the world are using a variety of different methods to facilitate their learning. For students in Ukraine, the start of this term is more challenging than usual. Though most schools have resumed session virtually despite the ongoing war, up to half of Ukrainian students are preparing to attend classes with few materials, from new locations—some that are less than ideal for focus and learning.
To help keep students in Ukraine learning and growing, EPAM Canada is supporting Caritas’ “School Briefcase” campaign to provide educational support to young people throughout the country. From July 29 – September 6, we will be accepting donations to benefit educational programs via Caritas Ukraine, organized in partnership with CNEWA Canada, to provide students in Ukraine with the necessary supplies to return to school. Any Canadian resident can donate, and will receive a tax receipt for their contribution.
We can act as #OneEPAM in Canada to help thousands of students continue their learning, stay in touch with teachers and classmates, and discover a world of knowledge despite the difficulties they may be facing.
For CA$315, a student in Ukraine will receive a tablet, which will keep them connected to classmates and instructors and help them complete their coursework, even from a difficult or unfamiliar location. Donating even a small amount to the fund can help us accomplish our goal of supporting the education of students in Ukraine.
We understand that new tablets purchased as part of our campaign will not compensate for their losses, but we want Ukrainian children who have suffered from the war to be given the opportunity to continue to learn and develop.
Thank you for donating if you can and joining us as #OneEPAM while we continue to #StandWithUkraine.
