The ‘Okhmatdyt’ Children’s Hospital was damaged by a Russian missile attack, which caused deaths, injuries and damage on the various regions of the city in Kyiv, Ukraine on July 08, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTargeting children and their loved ones was always thought as unthinkable. Ukrainians want peace and security for themselves and their children. This news was devastating, and we stand ready to support our partners overseas with important funding. We ask Canadians to please help us assist those who have been tragically affected, which sadly, includes countless families and young children.\u201d – Anna Dombrovska, CNEWA\u2019s program officer for Ukraine<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

With your help, we wish to fund up to 10 hospitals – with medical equipment, transportation and hygiene products \u2013 at a total cost of $600,000 CDN. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can you help us offer life-saving medical assistance for Ukrainian children? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a world growing weary over the war in Ukraine, CNEWA is pushing forward with more resources to care for the poor, the injured and the forgotten.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year and in 2025, CNEWA wishes to fund: 
– Wound Healing Centres 
– Rehabilitation programs for military families 
– Food boxes and soup kitchens
– Mobile dental clinics for areas severely affected by war 
– Generators for parishes and important formation for priests and spiritual leaders<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just as Jesus Christ multiplied the small offering of bread and fish to feed thousands, our contributions to CNEWA\u2019s Ukraine program are magnified through the dedication of our partners overseas. This important story from sacred scripture reminds us that every gift, no matter how large, holds immense potential to bring about impactful change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
