The Catholic Women\u2019s League (CWL) of Canada and CNEWA are working together to support Christians in the Holy Land. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

CWL Honorary Life Member Velma Harasen visited the Holy Land in 2010. Her eyes were opened to the struggles of local Christians, and she came back to Canada compelled to act. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result was the beginning of a partnership between The Catholic Women’s League of Canada and CNEWA to support women and families in the Holy Land through two projects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Infant Welfare Centre<\/em> in Jerusalem provides critical support to at-risk teenagers for them to stay in school. The Shepherd\u2019s Field Hospital<\/em> in Beit Sahour provides health care to the poorest mothers and babies, near Bethlehem where Jesus was born. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your support ensures that compassion, reconciliation and the loving face of Christ are present in a region that greatly needs peace. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n
