We are grateful to the Catholic Women\u2019s League of Canada for supporting CNEWA’s Care for our Common Home<\/em> projects.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Your generosity has helped repair a water well at Pieta Bhavan (House of Mercy) in Kerala, India.  It is a Christian home caring for approx. 60 women with intellectual disabilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the state of Kerala has experienced severe flooding in recent years, your kindness will now prevent contamination in the well and ensure that its residents have clean and drinkable water for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After fully funding the Pieta Bhavan well project in India, there were excess funds that will go towards an additional CNEWA project: providing essential food to children through Catholic Schools and parishes in the Adigrat Diocese, located in Ethiopia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
