Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Mt. 25:40)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lord Jesus, cleanse our eyes so that we can see your face in our brothers and sisters, <\/strong>especially in all those children who, in many parts of the world, are living in poverty and squalor. Children deprived of their right to a happy childhood, education and innocence. Little ones used as cheap goods, bought and sold at will. Lord, we ask you to have mercy and compassion on this sick world. Help us rediscover the beauty of our dignity, and that of others, as human beings created in your image and likeness. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
