CWL had their 2024 National Convention in Saskatoon (August 11-14) and CNEWA was honored to answer their invitation. <\/h2>\n\n\n

Participating in an event for the first time is always a unique and enriching experience, but my recent participation in the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) National Convention took this to an entirely new level. As I reflect on this meaningful experience, I am excited to share how the CWL’s dedication to supporting the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) is making a significant impact in Israel and Palestine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Journey of Generosity and Purpose<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Catholic Women\u2019s League is renowned for its unwavering commitment to charitable causes, particularly those that align with its Catholic values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment I arrived at the event, it was clear that this was more than just a gathering – it was a celebration of compassion and solidarity. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of purpose, as members of the CWL came together to contribute to causes larger than themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I never expected sitting at a booth to be so impactful in my life. Each CWL member who came by the booth had a unique story to tell about their experience with CNEWA Canada. Whether it be a long time donor, their involvement with their parish committee, or receiving our emails it was so evident that the CWL has enriched CNEWA Canada with lasting relationships and supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing how many people have travelled to this conference, it was truly enriching to be among so many passionate and faith filled women from all over Canada as well as meeting clergy members who have served all over the world supporting CNEWA Canada and the CWL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a pleasure to be able to provide updates to CWL members of the projects they support, and hear their stories. I am truly grateful to bring back this experience to our Development team and whole office in Ottawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
