For children living through conflict, displacement and uncertainty, it can be easy to think their needs must be great and complicated. But sometimes, children ask for so little: a meal, a safe place to learn and play, or even a simple toy after being forced to leave everything behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CNEWA\u2019s support helps provide children with food, education and care<\/strong>, while programs such as recreational sports give them something equally important: a space where they can feel safe, have fun and experience a sense of normalcy.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n For Darine, who has worked with CNEWA for 10 years, continuing this work is deeply connected to her faith and to what she witnesses every day. \u201cWhen we can provide, I cannot look away,\u201d<\/strong> she shared. She sees families expressing their needs and feels that those needs cannot simply be disregarded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Larissa\u2019s commitment is deeply personal.
