CNEWA Canada gave a presentation at the Assembly of Christians from the Middle East

Dr. Adriana Bara, National Director of CNEWA Canada, delivered a presentation at a symposium marked by depth and hope, bringing together a community committed to addressing key issues facing the region.

The Assembly of Middle Eastern Christians hosted a remarkable symposium on Saturday, April 25, marked by depth and hope. This event successfully brought together an engaged community around a highly relevant theme, touching on faith, history, and the current realities of the Middle East.

The speakers’ presentations were rich and enlightening, offering nuanced analyses of the objectives and outcomes of the visit of His Holiness Leo XIV to Turkey and Lebanon. Each, in their own way, contributed to fostering a sincere reflection on the challenges of ecumenism, the importance of interreligious dialogue, and the hopes for peace in a region marked by many trials.

Beyond the speeches, the symposium was a true moment of encounter and sharing, where exchanges among participants strengthened a sense of solidarity and unity. The warm and respectful atmosphere allowed everyone to feel involved in this collective endeavor.

In sum, this gathering will remain a significant moment, full of meaning and hope, reminding us that dialogue, faith, and shared commitment can open paths toward a more peaceful and fraternal future.
