Help a Child Return to School With Hope

For many children served by CNEWA Canada , a new school year begins amid war, displacement, persecution and poverty.

A new school year should begin with excitement: a freshly sharpened pencil, a clean notebook and the promise of discovering something new.

But for many children in the communities served by CNEWA Canada, September begins very differently.

Across Ukraine, the Middle East, Ethiopia and India, Christian families are facing war, displacement, persecution and deepening poverty. Some children have been forced from their homes. Others are living in communities where food, medicine and school supplies are simply out of reach.

Their parents face a heartbreaking question: How can I give my child a future when I can barely provide for today?

Yet even amid uncertainty, these families hold firmly to their faith. Local priests, religious sisters and church workers remain close, providing practical and spiritual support to families in need.

Your generosity can make a difference.

A gift to CNEWA Canada can help provide school supplies, clothing, food, tuition assistance, safe shelter, medical care and pastoral support. A notebook may seem small, but to a displaced child, it can mean a return to learning. A safe classroom can offer precious moments of security and hope.

As CNEWA marks its centennial year, we prayerfully ask you to help a child return to school with hope.

Please give today. Help a child learn. Help a family hold on to hope.

Thank you for standing with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
