Yesterday, before His Beatitude Sviatoslav’s lecture at the Isabel Bader Theatre, University of Toronto, he received a Doctorate Honoris Causa from the University of St. Michael’s College. Dr. Adriana Bara, CNEWA Canada National Director, had the privilege of being in the academic procession on this occasion.
Cardinal Francis Leo of Toronto, who is the Chancellor of St. Michael’s College (and a member of our CNEWA Canada Board), and Dr. David Sylvester, President of St. Michael’s College, University of Toronto, offered the degree to His Beatitude.
Congratulations to His Beatitude for this honorable and well-deserved achievement – a testament to his incredible, courageous, and humanitarian work in Ukraine as the Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
