The National Day of Prayer for Christians in the Holy Land, remembered annually on September 21, seeks to bring important awareness to the plight of Christians in the holiest of lands in the world.
As people of faith, we have a responsibility and opportunity to listen, learn and offer our support as we protect these lands for today’s families and for generations of Christians to come.
In conjunction with the International Day of Peace, you are invited to join CNEWA Canada and our global partners in praying for peace in the Holy Land and Middle East.
This year, in particular, we commemorate the 75th anniversary of Nakba for the Palestinian peoples. We also recognize this year’s theme from scripture (Matthew 8:20), “Foxes have holds and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”
