In the early afternoon, she attended a conference by Cardinal Frank Leo, Archbishop of Toronto, at the Grand Séminaire de Montréal, entitled “Mary’s Gaze in a Polarized World.” Cardinal Leo offered a profound reflection on how Mary, the Mother of God, can inspire listening, compassion, and dialogue in a world often marked by division.

Later that day, Dr. Bara participated in the Mass for Peace in the Middle East and the Whole World, celebrated at Saint Joseph’s Oratory under the high patronage of Archbishop Christian Lépine of Montreal. More than one thousand faithful, together with numerous bishops and priests from Eastern Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant Churches, joined their voices in prayer for peace.

Invited to this celebration and mentioned among the guests of honor, Dr. Bara expressed her gratitude for this deeply spiritual experience:
“It was a truly inspiring day, united by prayer and faith. Seeing so many people praying together for peace in the Middle East reminds us that we all share the same calling to be peacemakers.”
The presence of Archbishop Ivan Jurkovič, Apostolic Nuncio to Canada, along with Eastern hierarchs — Bishop Paul Marwan Tabet (Maronite), Bishop Milad El-Jawich (Melkite), Bishop Paul Antoine Nassif (Syriac Catholic), Archbishop Papken Tcharian (Armenian Prelacy), and Bishop Boulos (Coptic) — bore witness to the richness of ecclesial communion and the shared commitment to peace and reconciliation.
