No doubt, you are already aware that the Gaza Strip is enduring one of the most devastating humanitarian crises in its history.
We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt and urgent request. CNEWA’s office in Jerusalem, together with our trusted local partner, the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) – Department of Service to Palestinian Refugees (DSPR/NECC) in Gaza, has alerted us to a critical emergency on the ground.
In response, our partners are launching a targeted relief initiative: the distribution of fresh vegetables to 370 displaced and impoverished families currently sheltering at the Latin Patriarchate, the Greek Orthodox Church, and other Christian centres in Gaza City.
Each family can receive a 10-kilogram parcel of fresh vegetables — tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, and more — enough to bring nourishment, dignity, and hope during this tragic time.
But they cannot do this without your help.
Your gift today can help bring vital nourishment to a family that has lost everything. With your compassion, we can stand alongside the local Church in Gaza and offer not only food but solidarity and hope.
Please consider making a donation today and specify “Gaza Emergency” in the comment line.
We thank you for being part of CNEWA’s mission of mercy. Let us continue to pray for peace in the Holy Lands and for all those suffering due to conflict and famine.
In hope and solidarity,
Adriana Bara, PhD
