The current situation in Ethiopia is one of great hardship for many, especially in the regions CNEWA strives to provide for. Schoolchildren often go without so much as a piece of bread for days, walking miles to a well for drinking water, all while experiencing the heartbreaking effects of the conflict in the Tigray region.
Did you know? CNEWA Canada continues playing a pivotal role in providing faith, hope and care for the millions of people affected by war and strife. The reports we receive from our regional office in Ethiopia tell us of families with no food and refugee centres where children and their parents run in need of a home.
