Anna Klochko

Anna Klochko is a Ukrainian freelance journalist, photojournalist and multimedia storyteller from Sumy, a city on the frontline near the Russian border. Working across Ukraine, she documents the human consequences of war, with a particular focus on children, families, displaced people and communities facing extraordinary challenges. Her reporting explores how individuals and communities navigate loss, trauma and uncertainty while finding ways to support one another and rebuild their lives.

Through writing, photography and video, Anna covers a wide range of social, humanitarian and environmental issues, combining in-depth reporting with visual storytelling. She collaborates with international media outlets and organizations, bringing local perspectives and underreported stories to global audiences. Her work is driven by a commitment to human dignity, thoughtful journalism and giving a voice to people whose experiences might otherwise go unheard.
