Since Georgia’s independence, CNEWA’s initiatives there have taken a variety of forms. Working primarily through Caritas Georgia — the official charity of Georgia’s Armenian, Chaldean and Roman Catholic churches — CNEWA has supported works addressing the needs of Georgia’s vulnerable populations &mash; particularly homeless pensioners, street children, the disabled and families affected by war and civil strife.
