We would like to assure you that the privacy and security of our donors is a guiding principle at CNEWA.
We understand the need to protect you and your good intentions from security threats.
CNEWA does not sell, rent, loan, trade or lease any personal information (names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, etc.) collected by our sites or from its mailing lists. Collection of data on our web sites is limited to our contact form. Information entered into our contact form is used solely to assist our staff in handling requests for information or assistance and is not stored in our database.
CNEWA’s donor database is kept securely on a central server that resides behind a network firewall that is periodically updated and maintained by our own IT department. Access to financial information within the database is confidential and access is restricted; the database is not accessible through our web site or over the internet.
CNEWA analyzes its web server logs to better understand the interests of our users. Web server logs cannot identify specific individuals who browse our sites.
CNEWA’s online donation forms do not capture or store credit card information. Using the TLS protocol (Transport Layer Security, which includes encryption), Stripe processes credit card information collection for CNEWA’s online donation forms. Stripe maintains certification reflecting the most stringent level of PCI compliance to ensure security of all data transmitted.
CNEWA’s sites contain links to other sites. CNEWA is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites.
At CNEWA we value your opinions. If you have any comments or questions about our privacy statement or should you wish to review personal information collected and request corrections, you may contact us at:
