Archbishop Najeeb Michaeel and his fellow Dominicans have made it their mission to preserve Iraqi heritage by protecting many ancient Christian and other historical manuscripts for future generations.

As ISIS extremists charged towards Qaraqosh in 2014, Most Rev. Najeeb Michaeel filled his car with these rare items and fled to safety, finding refuge in Iraqi Kurdistan along with thousands of other Iraqi Christians. He returned to Mosul in 2017, finding his community and church in ruins. Despite these obstacles, he works for peace and strives to keep the faith alive in Iraq.

Individual tickets are $75 each and tables of eight are $540. Funds raised this year will benefit Catholic Near East Welfare Association projects in the Middle East. Tax receipts can be provided for a portion of the ticket cost upon request.

You can purchase tickets online here, or call 416-275-2151 or email cmedinner@gmail.com for more information.
