Ottawa, Ontario — CNEWA Canada is a proud sponsor of a fundraising gala to support the ministry of Salt + Light TV. Taking place in Vancouver on May 28, Taste & See will be an evening of faith conversation and dinner, with Father Tom Rosica, CEO of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation, and Vancouver Archbishop Michael Miller, C.S.B., a member of CNEWA’s board, in attendance.
“Salt and Light has always helped to shine a light on the persecuted religious minorities CNEWA seeks to help,” said Carl Hétu, the national director of the Catholic Near East Welfare Association in Canada. “It’s a pleasure for us to sponsor this event in support of such a great media partner.”
Guest speakers will include Salt + Light TV personalities Sebastien Gomes, who will speak on the Catholic channel’s latest projects, Chinese producer Rodney Leung, who will discuss the impact of Chinese programming in Canada, Alicia Ambrosio will offer insights into what we can expect from this summer’s World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland, and Charles Les Bourgeois will speak on his latest project, Charity Without Borders.
