Since the 6 February earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, CNEWA has worked urgently to rush aid to its partners in the region.
In this Catholic Faith Network (CFN) interview, Michael J.L. La Civita, CNEWA’s director of communications, speaks about the agency’s response and shares the needs of those on the ground.
“We’ve long worked in Syria… We work entirely through the local church wherever we work, and so we know that the funds … will get to its destination safely and securely, and that the funds will be used for what they’re designated,” said Mr. La Civita.
