The pastoral and social work of the church in Armenia was the focus of a reportage this week by the Catholic media Rome Reports.
In the report, Michael La Civita, CNEWA’s communications director, shared the reality of the church in Armenia, based on his visit to Armenia in early June to assess CNEWA’s response to the country’s numerous challenges.
One of the ongoing challenges of the church is responding to the needs of thousands of families displaced by last year’s war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Images from the Emili Aregak Center for children with special needs in Gyumri, supported by CNEWA and administered by Caritas Armenia, were featured in the report.
