Sister Marie Claude Naddaf, R.G.S., has dedicated her life to the protection and empowerment of women and girls. As the coordinator of Wells of Hope, a regional initiative of Talitha Kum in Lebanon, she is active in anti-trafficking ministry, particularly prevention, awareness-raising and support to survivors.
“I needed to support the unheard, those who have no voice, in any possible way I could,” she said.
Moved by prayer, Sister Marie Claude and Wells of Hope are a positive force for survivors who were trapped in unimaginable situations at the hands of traffickers.
“I attempted to escape three times,” said a trafficking survivor. “Three times, they caught me. Three times, I endured the worst forms of torture.”
“Thanks to Talitha Kum’s program … I managed to stand on my own feet,” she said.
