CNEWA’s operating agency in the Middle East, the Pontifical Mission, has a long-standing relationship with St. Louis Hospital, and our donors have provided assistance in many ways.

Grants will provide a new, more energy-efficient water heater. Plans are in the works for two more such heaters, which will satisfy the facility’s hot water needs. We have also secured for the hospital the donation of a second-hand ultrasound machine from France.

Our donors’ generosity over the years has been great, covering costs for a number of other key projects, including the installation of solar panels and high-quality rainwater cisterns on the roof, and extensive renovations that added beds, improved fire safety standards and updated the hospital’s air conditioning systems.
