Chorbishop John Faris, CNEWA Assistant Secretary General, and Rozanne Landers, Planned Giving Associate, representing Msgr. Archimandrite Robert L. Stern, Secretary General, met with CNEWA benefactors in the Phoenix area to thank them for their generous support over the years.
Reviving a tradition dating back to the early 1940s, Chorbishop John Faris, CNEWA Assistant Secretary General, and Rozanne Landers, Planned Giving Associate, representing Msgr. Archimandrite Robert L. Stern, Secretary General, met with CNEWA benefactors in the Phoenix area to thank them for their generous support over the years. The visit, which took place from 9 to 11 August, included private visits to the homes of some benefactors who were unable to travel and small gatherings in private homes and restaurants. In addition to meeting Chorbishop Faris and Ms. Landers, CNEWA benefactors had an unprecedented opportunity to become acquainted with each other.
During the visit Chorbishop Faris raised the idea of establishing a CNEWA Phoenix Chapter. This chapter would conduct fund-raising efforts to support the work of CNEWA. Michael Rossman will soon be contacting other members of the CNEWA family and their friends to establish the first of many local CNEWA chapters.
