Prepare the Future Leaders of the Church
As we enter a season of gratitude, we give thanks not only for the many protectors and intercessors in heaven, but also for the devoted servants of the church here on earth. At CNEWA, we honor the priests, religious sisters and lay leaders who selflessly bring the light of the Gospel to the world’s most vulnerable communities.
These devoted individuals serve in places such as Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Ethiopia, India and Ukraine — delivering spiritual and material aid to those in need. But they cannot do it alone.
The journey to become a leader in the church requires years of spiritual, academic and pastoral training — a process of formation essential to the growth of the Eastern churches. However, in many of the regions we serve, the cost of education and formation can prove prohibitive for seminarians, religious sisters and lay leaders alike. Without your regular support, many would be unable to answer God’s call to serve.
Your generous monthly gift helps us provide critical support for leadership formation in these communities. By giving, you’re ensuring that the next generation of religious and lay leaders receives the training they need to serve and uplift their communities.
Your monthly support helps fund a variety of programs, including:
- Subsidies for seminarian and novice formation
- Training for lay catechists and youth formation programs
- Pastoral activities, social teaching programs and much more.
From training young men in military chaplaincies in Ukraine to forming religious sisters in Ethiopia, your generosity empowers these men and women to live out the Gospel and bring hope to their communities. By supporting them, you help to build strong, resilient faith communities and nurture the future leaders of the church.
Your generosity today will help sow the seeds of faith and leadership for generations to come. Join us in supporting the future of the church — and making a lasting impact on communities in need.
