Rush Aid to Families in Lebanon
At this critical moment in Lebanon, your generous and prayerful support is more than necessary — it is vital to the survival of thousands of innocent people fleeing airstrikes and a ground invasion wherever they can find refuge around the country. According to our partners on the ground — always the local churches — the needs are enormous and the financial means limited.
With more than one million people forced to flee their homes, the need for urgent humanitarian aid has never been greater.
Our trusted partners on the ground, representing dioceses, parishes, men and women religious and societies such as St. Vincent de Paul, have prioritized essential aid like food, nursing formula, hygiene kits, potable water and mattresses, pillows and blankets.
Your generous support is crucial for the survival of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
CNEWA-Pontifical Mission is working directly with the Daughters of Charity, Salvatorian Fathers and Sisters, Good Shepherd Sisters and Sisters of Jesus and Mary, for example, to assess and meet the immediate needs across the country. For families living in the Christian villages on the southern border, the situation is growing increasingly dire, with more than 8,000 families being told to evacuate the region immediately, under threat of more impending airstrikes. With nowhere to turn, and with institutions like Catholic schools and other shelters of last resort in the region also facing imminent destruction, these families have no choice but to suffer in silence.
Together, we can provide hope and critical aid.
We are committed to standing by those pushed to the margins — those who were forced to evacuate with nothing, and those who have now lost everything. Your contribution can make all the difference to thousands of innocent families caught in the vicious cycle of violence.
Please give what you can today.
Please ask Our Lady of Lebanon — whose mantle of protection is a source of comfort to all Lebanese, Christian and Muslim alike — for her intercession to be with those who have been displaced and injured, and to offer solace for the families of those killed.
Your prayers and gifts will help care for our brothers and sisters whose lives have been upended by this senseless cycle of violence and hatred.
