This Thursday, 10 December, at 8 p.m. ET, CNEWA and Salt + Light Media will present a virtual event benefiting the Christians of the Middle East.
“Witnesses of Hope” will feature a variety of faces and voices, introducing viewers to ordinary women and men doing extraordinary things throughout the Middle East, present the voices of the Syriac Catholic Choir of St. Ephrem Church in Laval, Quebec, and offer thoughts from Cardinal Thomas Collins of Toronto; Pascale Debbané of the Holy See’s Dicastery for Integral Human Development; the Rev. Peter Galadza, cofounder of the Sheptytsky Institute; and CNEWA’s own Carl Hétu, national director of CNEWA in Canada.
Proceeds from the event will support CNEWA’s work in the Middle East.
