As people in the Middle East continue to face challenges from the region’s conflicts, CNEWA Canada will host a webinar so Westerners can hear from CNEWA represenatives who work in the area.
“Hope in Action: Voices on the Ground,” will be livestreamed from noon to 1 p.m. EDT on 6 May. Joseph Hazboun, CNEWA/Pontifical Mission for Palestine regional director in Jerusalem, and Michel Constantin, CNEWA regional director in Beirut, will offer insights into what is happening in their areas and will discuss the urgent needs of the people they serve.

Since a ceasefire in Gaza took hold in Gaza last October, CNEWA has rushed nearly $1.2 million in aid to support church-sponsored relief efforts in Gaza and the West Bank. More recently, CNEWA/PMP has been supporting isolated Lebanese who remained in their villages in South Lebanon, despite Israeli bombings.
