CNEWA

Congratulations to Our Winners!

CNEWA’s media efforts, including ONE magazine, its website and blog, as well as individual team members, received a total of 44 awards by the Catholic Media Association at its media awards banquet on 7 July. This record-breaking year for the agency coincided with the return of the CMA’s in-person media conference, which has not been held for the past two years due to COVID-19.

Below is a complete list of CNEWA’s awards, as well as selected comments by the panel of judges who assessed this year’s nominations. Congratulations to all our contributors. They give all they have to raise awareness of the role of ordinary men and women, all motivated by love, to do extraordinary things in some of the worst of circumstances.

“Fine writing, attention-getting photos from cover to last page with strong design bringing it all together. A prize winner in any contest.”

CNEWA’s blog is a brilliant narrative in international human rights. The enterprising and underreported story selection are one of the blog’s strengths. The bloggers cover topics from Syria to Armenia and discuss timely topics such as climate change and human rights abuses. The writing and tone of each article educates and informs the reader but also encourages a call to action.”
